Living in California with crazy high electric bills ($500 a month and that’s without using the air conditioner but we are on a well), I line dry everything I wash. I love the crispness of freshly line dried towels and the smell of line dried quilts.
The quilts on the right and left are whole cloth quilts. A few years back when Lynette Jensen was all the rage, in one of her mini quilt books for kids she featured whole cloth quilts made with fun kid friendly fabrics and she rolled them up and tied them with matching ties made from the extra binding, to look like a roll pillow. I thought it was a very cute idea and quickly finished 5 of these easy quilts. I quilted these in no time at all on my Grace Quilt Frame. I have the older wooden frame.
The quilt in the middle is my son’s baby quilt. The middle of the squares are cute cows, perfect for a baby boy! My son is now 8 years old, how time flies! His quilt still looks awesome!
I guess I should have moved the laundry basket for a better picture.
