For the past several years I’ve been trying to make Christmas less about buying gifts and more about family and being thankful for all we have. Sometimes less is more. I’ve cut back my Christmas spending and we still manage have a fabulous Christmas. I still buy my kids stuff for Christmas but for everyone else on my list I try and make them something special rather than buy them a gift. My efforts are appreciated more than store bought stuff and best of all, come January, I won’t have to worry about getting a nasty credit card bill and struggle paying it off for the next 6 months.
